Our washer tournament in honor of Mikey Lang is held every year. We bring together our neighbors for a day of fun and education.
Washers is a game similar to horse shoes. Two teams or individuals toss washers The goal is to toss washers towards their opponents “pit” (usually a box). The player who gets the most washers closest to the goal is the winner.
Washers has traditionally played in Kensington, Philadelphia for decades. We continue the tradition and use it as an opportunity to learn and hang out with our neighbors.
