We teach our community how to reverse an opioid overdose and save a life.

Need a training?

1 Check for signs of an overdose

Is their breathing slowed or stopped?
Do their lips or fingertips appear blue/gray?
Ask if they are ok. Are they responding?
Do they respond to physical stimulation (rubbing their chest with your knuckles, pinching fingertips)?

2: Call 911

Let them know the person is overdosing
Tell them your location

3: Give NARCAN

Give Narcan nasally

4: Give rescue breaths

Use a face shield or breathing aid if possible.
Give one breath every five seconds

5: Stay until help arrives

Continue giving rescue breaths until help arrives

We educate our neighbors and local institutions with facts about Fentanyl, a drug which has caused thousands of overdose deaths in Philadelphia. We teach parents, kids, and teachers how to be on the lookout for fentanyl in their neighborhoods and what to do if they encounter this substance.
